Nobles County Library opens doors at new sites

The Nobles County Library in Worthington is now open in its new, temporary locations as renovations take place at its original site.

The main library is currently located at 1106 Third Ave. The entrance is on the south side of the SMOC building; it's the door closest to 11st Street.

The Children’s Department is currently located at 206 11th St. The entrance is on 11th Street; it's the second door to the south.

Library patrons should continue to use the book drops at the library’s original location at 407 12th St.  The outside book drop will soon be moved to the new location, and the book drop in the back of the library will soon be closed.

Hours for the main library are 9 a.m. to 4:30 Monday through Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday. Children’s Department hours are noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday.

Renovations at the original location will continue into fall 2025.
