No one hurt in Tuesday train-vs.-semi crash

There were no injuries that resulted from a collision between a train and semi-tractor trailer late Tuesday afternoon.

A Union Pacific train was traveling eastbound southwest of Worthington when the collision took place at the intersection of U.S. 59/Minnesota 60 and 280th Street. The Nobles County Sheriff's Office received a report of the crash at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday.

Among the agencies dispatched to the scene were the Worthington and Bigelow fire departments, who attended to an oil spill caused by the crash.
