The New Ulm Eagles got their second boys basketball victory over Worthington in 10 days Monday night as the host Eagles posted a 104-74 win over the Trojans. New Ulm, now 16-6 on the season, had beaten WHS 75-67 on Feb. 2.
The Eagles got out to a 46-30 halftime lead in the game. Colton Benson, who had 38 points for New Ulm in the first matchup with Worthington this season, had 30 on Monday night, and James Osborne added 19 points.
Worthington had five players accumulate double-figure point totals in the game. Welbaka Morke had 14 points to lead the way offensively, Zach Hayenga and Jacari Swinea added 12 apiece, Permeye Okony had 11 and Andrew Mulder 10. The Trojans, now 11-10 on the season, host Luverne Thursday night.

In Iowa Class 1A District 1 Boys Basketball quarterfinal action, North Union defeated Sibley-Ocheyedan 77-34 to end the Generals’ season. In Class 1A District 4 boys basketball, it was George-Little Rock 63, Harris-Lake Park 29. In Class 2A District 1 boys basketball, Spirit Lake topped Sheldon 62-47. In Class 2A District 3 boys basketball, it was Rock Valley 66, Okoboji 53 and Central Lyon 77, West Sioux 44.
