NCE to open new Slayton office next week

Nobles Cooperative Electric announces the relocation of its office staff and administrative operations to a new, state-of-the-art facility at 1505 20th Street, Slayton. As part of this transition, NCE stated in a press release, the cooperative’s Worthington public office will close and is expected to be repurposed by a local business soon.

During the move, the cooperative's in-person staff availability may be limited. Members are encouraged to call 800-776-0517 for assistance. Cooperative staff will be available by phone to answer questions, provide support, and help direct members as needed.

The Slayton office is expected to open for regular business shortly after the Memorial Day weekend. During this initial opening period, the cooperative asks members and visitors to hold off on requesting full facility tours. An official grand opening and community open house is being planned for mid-August, during which guests will be welcomed to tour the new space and learn more about the cooperative’s operations. Further details regarding the event will be announced later this summer.

Final site work, including parking lot completion, is currently underway at the Slayton location. Once this work is finished, a member drop box will be installed for added convenience. The Worthington drop box will remain in place and continue to be available for member use. Contact information for the cooperative—phone numbers, email addresses, and website—will remain unchanged.

Additionally, the cooperative is in the process of relocating its water heater inventory to the Slayton office. Once the move is complete and the facility is fully operational, members will be able to pick up water heaters and complete related paperwork at the new location.
