Joining communities around the country to observe the National Day of Prayer, Love In the Name of Christ of Worthington (Love INC) along with Pray Worthington and the Worthington Area Christian Ministers Association (WACMA) will host a National Day of Prayer service over the noon hour on Thursday, May 2 at the Worthington Fire Department conference room.

"Lift Up the Word – Light Up the World" is this year’s National Day of Prayer theme, coming from the Scripture passage found in 2 Samuel 22:29-31: “For You are my lamp, Lord; and the Lord illumines my darkness. For by You I can run at a troop of warriors; by my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, His ways are blameless; the word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.”

The National Day of Prayer involves pastors and community Members interested in praying for their community focusing on seven different headings: church, family, educations, business/workplace, military, government and arts/entertainment/media.  For more information, contact Greg Wede at (507) 727-7291 or info@loveincw.org.
