Names released in Cottonwood County fatal crash

The names of the individuals who died in a Sunday crash in Cottonwood County have been released.

The Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office reports that Dennis Floyd Falk, 77, and his passenger, Susan Kay Falk, 65, both died in the Sunday crash, which was reported at approximately 5:46 p.m. from the intersection of 450th Avenue and Cottonwood County 11 in rural Sanborn. A 2014 Chevy Equinox operated by Dennis Falk had been westbound on Cottonwood County 11 and a 2007 Chevy Silverado southbound on 450th Avenue when the crash occurred. The driver of the Silverado sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office.
