Motorcyclist hurt when bike collides with deer

A Jeffers man was injured Sunday night in a motorcycle-vs.-deer crash.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1999 Harley Davidson operated by Scott Oniel Arndtson, 35, was westbound on Minnesota 30 when it struck the deer in the roadway. The incident took place at 8:57 p.m. Sunday near milepost 73 in Cottonwood County's Amboy Township.

Arndtson was taken to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury. The Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office, Jeffers Fire Department and Windom Ambulance assisted at the scene.
