Minnesota West graduation ceremonies are approaching

As another academic year comes to a close, Minnesota West Community and Technical College is busy preparing to toss some confetti in honor of its graduating class.
This year, Minnesota West is proud to award 578 certificates, diplomas and degrees to 519 students across its campuses. Graduation ceremonies will take place at various Minnesota West campuses, showcasing the range of programs and the diverse, talented students ready to take their next big step.
In a press release, Minnesota West President Dr. Terry Gaalswyk said of this year's graduates: "This May, you step into your future with knowledge and skills — it’s the exciting beginning of a new chapter. As you carry the spirit of Minnesota West with you, go forward boldly, make a difference and never stop learning."
Graduation ceremonies are scheduled for: 6 p.m. Thursday at in the JCC High School Performing Arts Theater in Jackson; 6 p.m. May 13 in the new gymnasium at Canby High School; 6 p.m. May 14 in the Pipestone Area High School Auditorium; 7 p.m. May 15 in the Yellow Medicine East High School Auditorium; and on May 16 in the Minnesota West Center for Health and Wellness on the Worthington camps. Peace Officer Skills Certificates will be presented starting at 1 p.m., nursing pinning is at 4 p.m. and the graduation ceremony is at 7 p.m.
