Minnesota West baseball team to play multiple games in Arizona

While the Lady Jays' basketball team will be heading south next week to play at national tournament in Texas, the Minnesota West baseball team will be traveling to play ball in Arizona.


The Bluejays, who played a pair of games last week in Mitchell, S.D., and went 1-1, are scheduled to play a doubleheader today at Iowa Central Community College. They'll then play a twinbill against Williston State College on Sunday.


A doubleheader against Miles Community College is scheduled for Monday in Tucson, Arizona, where Minnesota West will be the remainder of the week. The Bluejays are slated to face the Wheaton College JV as well as ATHX Academy on Tuesday, followed by Williston State College and Minnesota North-Rainy River on Wednesday. 


On Thursday the 12th, Minnesota West will meet both Riverland Community College and Central Lakes, and games are scheduled against Dakota College of Bottineau and Central Lakes the next day. On Saturday, the Bluejays will face Minnesota North-Rainy River once more.


Minnesota West will open its home season on April 4 with a doubleheader against Western Technical College. They'll then host the Dakota State JV two days later. The regular season will continue through May 2, when the Bluejays twice at Century College.
