A Slayton man was airlifted to Sioux Falls following a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning on U.S. 59.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1998 Kawasaki ZG1200 operated by Daniel Walter Jensen, 63, of Slayton was northbound on U.S. 59 in wet conditions when it lost control, left the roadway and came to rest in the southbound ditch. The crash took place at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday near the U.S. 59 intersection with Minnesota 30 in Murray County's Mason Township.
The State Patrol reported that Jensen sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was first transported to Murray County Medical Center in Slayton before being airlifted. The Murray County Sheriff's Office and Slayton Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
