Lady Jays VB team gets 3-0 vict ory on the road against Century

The Minnesota West volleyball team picked up a 3-0 victory on the road Wednesday night at Century College by game scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-7.
Sadie Krahling had nine kills and Aleah Wagner added seven for Minnesota West, which is now 8-1 on the fall. Lydia Moore topped the team in digs with 10, and Wagner and Kadyn Paulson each had eight.
Ally Nelson had two solo blocks and two block assists. Liv Locke served for three aces and Wagner two. Kate Slettum passed for 30 set assists.

The Worthington Trojans' girls tennis team was on the road Tuesday and was defeated by New Ulm 5-1.
The lone victory for the Trojans came at No. 4 singles, where Emma Hietbrink rallied for 3-6, 6-3, 10-5 win. Four of New Ulm's triumphs were in straight sets. At No. 2 singles, the Trojans' Kah Blu Moo fought to three sets but was beaten 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
