The Minnesota West Lady Jays moved up one spot to 13th Monday in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Women’s Volleyball poll.
On Monday night, the Lady Jays were defeated 3-2 by the Dakota Wesleyan junior varsity by game scores of 25-21, 17-25, 17-25, 25-20, 15-9. Ella Kamrud had 16 kills and Elle Hesse added 15 kills for Minnesota West. Kiarra Danielson contributed nine kills and 12 digs, Shawna Rogers had 18 digs and was a perfect 13-for-13 serving and Lexi Schreurs had 46 set assists and 11 digs with 18-for-18 serving.
The Lady Jays now have an overall record of 13-4.
