Lady Jay VB team still No. 3 in national poll; MW football team 4th

The Minnesota West Lady Jays are ranked at No. 3 in the NJCAA Division 3 Volleyball poll for the second consecutive week.
The Lady Jays, who entered Monday with a 25-3 record, have been ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation. They went 5-0 during the course of the past week. Remaining ahead of Minnesota West in the rankings are No. 1 Dallas College Eastfield, the defending national champions, and No. 2 Sandhills Community College of North Carolina.
College of DuPage is ranked fourth for the second week in a row, while Butler Community College of Pennsylvania has moved up a spot to fifth. Rochester Community & Technical College, which has split a pair of matches with the Lady Jays this fall, also moved up one spot in the poll to No. 6.
In the NJCAA Division 3 Football poll, Minnesota West dropped to fourth this week after its 27-26 home loss to Rochester. The Yellow Jackets, who are now 5-1 on the season, had been ranked fifth last week, while the Blue Jays, now 3-3, were ranked third.
Defending national champion College of DuPage remained at No. 1 in the poll, and North Dakota State College of Science stayed at No. 2. Louisburg College, located in North Carolina, dropped a spot to No. 5. They remain ranked despite a record of 2-3.
