Minnesota West Community & Technical College announced Wednesday that Joe Kinley has been hired as the new Bluejay baseball coach for Minnesota West.
Kinley is an alumnus of Minnesota West, and he also has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a masters of business administration degree from Dakota Wesleyan University.
Kinley played baseball for Minnesota West and Dakota Wesleyan with recognition as the Minnesota Community College Athletic Conference Academic Award Winner. He is also employed at Bedford Technology as a senior accountant.
“Kinley is a former student-athlete at Minnesota West and that will give him insight on what it takes to have a successful program," Minnesota West Interim Men’s Athletic Director Jeff Linder noted in a press release. "He will do a great job.”
