One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Cottonwood County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2001 GMC Yukon operated by Richard Deen Bolen, 61, of Jackson was northbound on U.S. 71 and a 2016 Lexus RXS operated by Steve Anton Fuchs, 62, of Lake Andes, S.D. was westbound on Minnesota 60 when they collided at the intersection of Cindy Street. The crash took place at 10:42 a.m. Sunday.
While Bolen was uninjured, a passenger in his vehicle -- Balinda Ann Tharp, 62, of Jackson, was transported to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury. Both occupants of the Lexus were unhurt in the crash.
The Windom Ambulance, Fire Department and Police Department along with the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
