Jackson County crash on I-90 injures two

Two people were injured in a Saturday evening crash on Interstate 90.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2024 Volvo semi operated by Puspa Raj Ghaley, 34, of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada was westbound on I-90 in snow/ice conditions when it left the roadway and rolled. The crash took place at 10:14 p.m. Saturday near milepost 80 in Jackson County.


Ghaley and a passenger, Kuikel Awiskar, 34, address unknown, were both transported to Sanford Jackson Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office. the Jackson Fire Department and Ambulance and the Alpha Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
