In Class A Region 1 Iowa high school softball Friday, Trinity Christian blanked George-Little Rock 7-0. In Class A Region 2 softball, GTRA beat Harris-Lake Park 15-2. In Class 2A Region 1 softball, it was Sibley-Ocheyedan 8, Central Lyon 4. The Generals will next play at North Union at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
In Iowa Class 1A District 1 baseball, George-Little Rock defeated Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn 15-4. In District 2, Harris-Lake Park was blanked by West Hancock 3-0. In Class 2A District 1, it was Okoboji over Sheldon, 9-2. In Class 2A District 2, Sibley-Ocheyedan was topped by West Sioux, 6-3, and Central Lyon edged Western Christian 1-0.
