Hills-Beaver Creek leads the way with five Red Rock girls hoops selections

The Red Rock Conference's girls basketball all-conference team has been announced.
Earning all-conference honors were seniors Abbie Harris and Ella Sammons and juniors Brynn Bakken and Olivia Deelstra of Section 3A runner-up Hills-Beaver Creek; senior Shandra Cuperus and junior Kamry Lehnhoff of Adrian-Ellsworth; senior Julia Brinkman and eighth-grader Mikayla Schroeder of Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey; juniors Makayla Hesse and Paisley Thooft of Russell-Tyler-Ruthton; senior Ava Deacon of Murray County Central; senior Leah Carter and junior Hadley Jenniges of Westbrook-Walnut Grove; senior Renae Salentiny and sophomore Ashton Reierson of Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda; senior Reese Vande Griend of Edgerton; and senior Victoria Prins of Southwest Minnesota Christian.
Girls receiving honorable mention recognition were: sophomore Ella Rheault of Hills-Beaver Creek; juniors Ava Brown and Keyona Klingenberg of Adrian-Ellsworth; senior Ellamae Peters of Mountain Lake Area-Comfrey; senior Brezlyn Buchert of Russell-Tyler-Ruthton; seniors Kate Blankenship and Calleigh Doeden and junior Kat Miller of MCC; sophomore Lauryn Hendel of Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda and senior Kya Voge of Edgerton.
