Noah Gravenhof won Grand Champion Premier Showperson and Trent Dykstra won Reserve Champion Premier Showperson at this month’s Premier Showmanship Contest at the Nobles County Fair, states a press release from the University of Minnesota Extension.
At the conclusion of the Nobles County Fair, senior show people put their skills to the test at the annual Premier Showmanship Contest. Based on their showmanship skills from shows earlier in the week, 14 participants were invited to the competition. Participants worked with other youths to learn how to show the seven different species and knowledge about each species. Judges evaluated youths skills showing swine, rabbits, dairy, poultry, beef, sheep and goats.
