The Southwest Minnesota Arts Council has awarded new Quick Support for Organizations grants, which provide organizations with up to $2,500 for various activities.
Friends of the Auditorium in Worthington have been awarded $2,250 for hiring local musicians to perform in the lobby area both before the shows and during the intermissions. This serves to not only promote and support local performers, but also create a social event with live music for audience members.
