Free behavior health care now available to S-O students

The Sibley-Ocheyedan Community School District is partnering with the Osceola Regional Health Center to provide free behavior healthcare to students during school hours.

Students who have parental consent are able to be seen by a psychiatric nurse practitioner free of charge. Consultation for therapy and/or medication management and ongoing treatment will be available.

Parents may participate in each visit by phone or video call. If medications are prescribed, the child's insurance will be utilized to provide those medications. No medications will be prescribed without consultation with a parent.

The free behavior healthcare is available each Thursday. Students may get scheduled by contacting their school counselor at (712) 754-3601.
