Every Meal, a Roseville-based nonprofit organization, has announced that it has distributed 10 million meals to Minnesota children. Every Meal, founded in 2010, provides weekend bags of food to 690 students in Worthington.
Every Meal’s mission is to end food insecurity for Minnesota children by filling the food gaps they face on weekends, extended breaks and summer when they’re unable to access school meal programs. The nonprofit has a goal of raising $1 million in December, which will be used to provide 750,000 meals to Minnesota children on weekends. Every Meal’s food bags are distributed at more than 500 locations across the state.
