Duffer's hosting Benefit for Logan on Wednesday night

Duffer's Bar & Grill in Worthington will host a benefit for Logan Waldner and his family from 7 to 9 p.m. this Wednesday.

Waldner is a Nobles County Sheriff's Office deputy who was critically injured April 13 when his squad car -- which was parked with lights activated while Waldner was assisting the Minnesota State Patrol by directing traffic for a crash investigation -- was struck by another vehicle.

Wednesday's Benefit for Logan will include a silent auction benefiting Waldner and his family.
