Crash in Slayton Township on Minnesota 267 injures two

Two people were injured in a Monday evening crash in Murray County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2024 Chevy Silverado operated by Lloyd Maynard Hindt, 84, of Iona was southbound on Minnesota 267, and a Gehl Skid Steer operated by Jake Lee Bleyenberg, 24, of Balaton was also southbound when they made contact with each other near the intersection with 71st Street. The collision was reported at 8:02 p.m. Monday in Slayton Township.
Both Hindt and Bleyenberg were transported to Murray County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The state patrol indicated that Hindt had been consuming alcohol. The Murray County Sheriff's Office and Ambulance as well as the Slayton Police Department assisted at the scene.
