Crash in Slayton Township on Minnesota 267 injures two

Two people were injured in a Monday evening crash in Murray County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2024 Chevy Silverado operated by Lloyd Maynard Hindt, 84, of Iona was southbound on Minnesota 267, and a Gehl Skid Steer operated by Jake Lee Bleyenberg, 24, of Balaton was also southbound when they made contact with each other near the intersection with 71^st Street. The collision was reported at 8:02 p.m. Monday in Slayton Township.

Both Hindt and Bleyenberg were transported to Murray County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The state patrol indicated that Hindt had been consuming alcohol. The Murray County Sheriff's Office and Ambulance as well as the Slayton Police Department assisted at the scene.
