Sanford Worthington Medical Center and Community Blood Bank join up to bolster community support towards the community’s blood supply and impact local patients’ lives by hosting a fall community blood drive between 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4 at Sanford Worthington. Donors can schedule an appointment by logging onto www.cbblifeblood.org, select “events”, Nov. 4 and Sanford Worthington or call 605-331-3222.
Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed parent consent form), weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good general health. It is recommended that a person eat and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating blood. Please bring an ID with you at the time of donation. For more information, log onto www.cbblifeblood.org.
