Corwin Laurence, a freshman at Minnesota West Community & Technical College who plays third base and pitches on the Blue Jays’ baseball team, is this week’s Radio Works Athlete of the Week. Laurence, who’s from Chicago, got a team-high four hits during Tuesday’s doubleheader against St. Cloud Tech, including a home run. Laurence is hitting .292 on the spring for Minnesota West, which is now idle until Saturday, when it plays a home doubleheader against Minnesota State of Fergus Falls.
