Big South names all-conference softball, tennis players

The Big South Conference has announced its all-conference teams in softball and boys tennis for the 2023 season.

Among the players named to the Big South small schools all-conference softball team were: Bailey Finck, Brittany Tufvesson and Hadley Wachal of Jackson County Central, Kyla Hubbling, Kayla Hubbling, Jaydn Kor, Moriah Moeller, and Toryn Woelber of Pipestone; Carly Olson, Payton Behr, Gracie Nath and Belle Smidt of Luverne; and Anja Nielsen of Windom. Honorable mention choices included: Mady Wachal of JCC, Aubrea Kor of Pipestone and Leah Hauge of Windom.

Among the players named to the Big South big schools all-conference softball team were: Morgan Bjella, Lauren Wherry, Regan Loft and Halla Jo Casavan of Marshall; Tegan Livesay. Brylee Miller and Neveah Rahm of Fairmont and Hannah McNab of Worthington. Honorable mention choices included: Chantel Moeller, Anna Ehlert and Emily Muller of Fairmont and Bailey Ponto and Lauren Nelson of Worthington.

In boys tennis, Jack Hagen of Fairmont was among the players named to the East Division all-conference team. For the West Division, Ian Barber of Worthington and Ethan Nath earned honors. Honorable mention selections went to Kaw Blay, Ezra Bonnett, Victory Bu, Lance Gordon and Evan Hansberger, all of Worthington.
