Big South Conference Wrestling All-Conference Team is announced

Jackson Country Central High School had several of its student-athletes listed on the that was announced Monday.
JCC wrestlers on the team included senior Evan Bartholmaus, sophomore Kyler Thier, freshman Peyton Sorbel, junior Dallas Gossen, senior Carson Kolander and eighth-grader Mathias Liepold. Gossen, Thier and Liepold placed second, third and sixth, respectively, during this past weekend's State Class A Tournament.
The lone Worthington Trojan named to the team was freshman Dominic Larson. Larson, competing in the 107-pound class in this past weekend's State Class AA Tournament, narrowly lost his match in the "blood round" to just miss placing.
Among others named to the all-conference team were sophomore Jacob Lopez, senior Kameron Koerner and senior Matthew Voehl of Windom-Mountain Lake. New Ulm, which was the champion of the Big South's Black Division, led all schools with seven student-athletes on the team.
Luverne, meanwhile, had four individuals "Rock" the all-conference girls wrestling team. Freshman Ellie Rock, senior Bernie Rock, sophomore CeCe Rock and seventh-grader Mary Rock all earned honors.
