Big South Conference recognizes all-conference baseball teams

The Big South Conference has announced its 2026 Baseball All-Conference Team.
For the conference's big schools, Marshall — which was defeated in the Section 2AAA semifinals by Mankato West --led the way with six players recognized. New Ulm had four players chosen, while St. Peter, Tri-City United and Belle Plaine had two apiece. Worthington High School's Austin Gruis, who just completed his junior season, also earned all-conference honors.
Four of the nine players receiving honorable mention honors were from New UIm. Earning an honorable mention selection was the Trojans' Dominic Pavelko, who also just completed his junior year.
Among the conference's small schools, Luverne had five players recognized — Jaxon Lais, Blake Sauer, Josh Hansen, Maddux Domagala and Maddox Miller. Windom had four selections — Hayden Tietz, Jackson Joyce, Stevie Meyer and Soren Nielsen. Fairmont also had four players recognized; the Cardinals were beaten by Windom for the Section 3AA championship, and the Eagles went on to place third in the state tournament.
Jackson County Central's Ben Gallagher and Talan Holm were each selected as honorable mentions, as were Easton Piotter of Windom and Landyn Lais of Luverne.
