Big South Conference Girls Volleyball All-Conference teams are announced

Natya Khamphanh, a senior at Worthington High School who played setter on the Trojans volleyball team this just-completed season, has earned Big South Conference Girls Volleyball All-Conference Team honors.
Khamphanh earned Black All-Conference Team honors, for which students from Marshall, Belle Plaine, St. Peter, Worthington, Tri-City United, New Ulm and Waseca were eligible. Marshall, which captured the Minnesota State Class 3A this past weekend, had five players named to the team — Reese Drake, Avery Fahl, Brooke Gillingham, Kezlyn Pinckney and Julia Fahl.
Three players from Jackson County Central earned recognized on the Big South's Gold All-Conference Team. Senior Bailey Finck and junior Paylin Sether were named to the first team, while junior Zoey Hall was an honorable mention selection.
Other area honorees on the Gold Team included Addison Colbert, Ali Lund, Anja Nielsen and Haidyn Sammons of Windom and Cece Rock and Kianna Winter of Luverne. Bernie Rock of Luverne was an honorable mention pick.
Players eligible to be named to the Big South Gold Division All-Conference Team are from either of the following schools: Windom, Pipestone Area, JCC, Redwood Valley, Luverne, Fairmont, St. James and Blue Earth Area.
