Backpacks and school supplies for Nobles County youths attending kindergarten through fourth grade will be distributed from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Aug. 12 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 230 Clary St., Worthington.
K-4 students must be present to receive their backpacks. In addition to the school supplies, Early Risers Kiwanis will give out children's books.
The program is made available from donations made by people, churches, service organizations and businesses of Nobles County.
Monetary donations are still being accepted. Checks should be mailed to Manna Backpacks, 230 Clary St.,, Worthington.
