Achut Deng to speak Nov. 19 in Minnesota West in Worthington

The Worthington campus of Minnesota Community & Technical College will welcome acclaimed author and humanitarian Achut Deng for a special presentation from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19 in the campus gymnasium.

Deng, a survivor of the South Sudanese civil war and co-author of the memoir "Don't Look Back," will share her inspiring journey of resilience, hope and advocacy. Her story has touched thousands across the nation, and this event offers a rare opportunity to hear her speak in person.

Following her presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase copies of her book and meet her during an autograph signing session.
