19 organizations receive grants from Worthington Area Community Foundation

The Worthington Area Community Foundation on Monday hosted its annual grant awards presentation at Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center. A total of 19 agencies were awarded a total of $21,856.
The Worthington Area Community Foundation accepts grant applications each year from Aug. 1 through Sept. 30. Foundation grants are made to nonprofit and nonpolitical groups. Priority areas include arts and culture, environmental causes, youth development and education, and recreational or civic activities essential to building and strengthening the community.
Award recipients receiving grants this year are: Civil Air Patrol, District 518 Community Education, District 518 eSports, District 518 Robotics Team, District 518 Visual Arts Team, ElevaCare, Every Meal, 59 Corridor CEO Organization, Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, International Festival, Kids-R-It Inc., Love INC, Nobles County Art Center, Nobles County Community Services, Nobles County 4-H, Nobles County Historical Society, Rebuilding Together MN, Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council, Worthington Cadets Club and Worthington High School Marching Band.
