AMPI in Sanborn is looking for General Laborers

 

General Labor/*Up to $2,000 Bonus*

 

The primary role of General Labor is to safely follow all production and quality standards while assembling 700-pound cheese blocks. The job will monitor different positions throughout the cheese packaging floor. The position includes, but is not limited to, making block forms, filling blocks with cheese, pushing blocks, closing and sealing blocks, and, once trained, storing blocks in the cooler.

 

ABOUT AMPI: Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI) is a dairy farmer-owned cooperative. The co-op owns eight Midwest-based manufacturing plants where 10 percent of the nation’s American-type cheese, processed cheese and butter is produced. The cooperative’s award-winning cheese, butter and powdered dairy products are marketed to foodservice, retail and food ingredient customers. In 2019, the co-op launched its Dinner Bell Creamery brand and accompanying Co-op Crafted promise, highlighting more than 50 years of dairy farm families partnering with skilled buttermakers and cheesemakers.
