WORTHINGTON – Spring has sprung, so it’s time to clean! The City of Worthington is once again planning a Spring Clean-Up event, with collection to start Monday, May 3.
Residents can begin placing items on the curb on Wednesday, April 30. Items such as windows, metal, lumber, water heaters and doors are free. Carpet, large appliances, furniture, mattresses, TVs and computers cost $11. Tags must be purchased from City Hall, Worthington Public Utilities or Schaap Sanitation April 26 through April 30. Leftover tags are non-refundable.
Items that will not be accepted include bricks, paint, pesticides, tires, clothes, trees and toys.
