The Worthington Concert Association presents will present Tajci, a quartet including a pianist, guitar player and two vocalists, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center, Worthington.
The program, “Waking Up in America”, features selections of American favorites, well-known country songs and international pop classics, all interspersed with light-hearted fun and inspiration.
Tajci is a Croatian pop star selling platinum records in Europe. She has toured the U.S. with her own shows. Joining her in the quartet are Sanya, her sister, who has toured with the Transiberian Orchestra; Brian, who tours extensively; and David (guitar/vocal), who has opened for or toured with the likes of Merle Haggard, Keith Urban and more. Among the songs in the quartet’s repertoire are “Imagine,” “Country Roads,” “What a Wonderful World” and “You Raise Me Up.”
