The Center For Active Living has announced the winners of its recent graffiti contest.
First place in the contest went to Alondra Palma for the mural depicting a woman of multiple ethnicities with flowers in her hair. Second place was the Nobles County Historical Society, for “In Diversity There is Beauty, and There is Strength,” Third went to Kelly Henkels for her eye and “Embrace It All.”
The results were announced during a community picnic Friday night at the old West Elementary building, where the graffiti contest took place. Twenty-five hundred votes were cast.
