Two women hurt in Murray County car-vs.cow crash

Two women was transported to an area hospital following a vehicle vs. cow crash Thursday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2008 Buick Enclave operated by Kathleen Irene Pegram, 56, of Pipestone was southbound on Minnesota 91 near 111th Street in Chanarambie Township, Murray County, when it collided with a cow in the roadway. The incident was reported at 11:22 p.m. Thursday.

Pegram and her passenger, Christine Carol Pegram, 37, also of Pipestone, were transported to Murray County Medical Center in Slayton with non-life-threatening injuries. The Murray County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
