WORTHINGTON – The Nobles County Toys for Tots event scheduled for this weekend has been postponed, according to organizer Dan Harrington. The event will now take place on November 14 at Max 493.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
The event on Nov 14 begins at 10 am and ends at 2 pm. Toy collection boxes will be in the front door area of the MAX 493 building. Register to win one of several donated prizes.
This year's distribution date is set for Saturday, Dec. 19th, 2020. If you wish to apply to receive toys for your children, stop by and fill out an application with one of our volunteers or take an application home to fill out and mail in later. We ask you leave your children at home and you are required to wear a mask in the building. All registration tables will be separated for social distancing purposes.
