The Nobles County COVID Incident Command Team continues to meet to track coronavirus trends within Nobles County.
Tawn Hall, the county’s emergency management director, said in a press release Tuesday that COVID infection counts increased only by two from last week from 26 to 28. People are still being encouraged to receive vaccinations as the Delta variant continues to spread.
Nobles County infection counts as reported by the Minnesota Department of Health on Monday, Aug. 9 were: 4,147 total confirmations, 4,069 past 10-day isolation, 50 reported deaths, and 28 people who are currently infected and still within their 10-day isolation period. The 28 known, currently infected residents fall into the following age ranges, which are listed along with the change from last week’s report: birth-10 (7- up 2), 11-15 (1- down 1), 16-19 (3- up 3), 20-25 (1- down 1), 26-50 (12- same), 51-64 (2 same), and aged 65+ (1- down 1)
