Three arrested on drug charges in Currie

CURRIE – Three Currie residents are facing multiple drug charges after the Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Thursday in the 100 block of Des Moines Street in Currie.

Information released by the task force states James Morrison Hames, age 23, April Jean Sell, age 35, and Brian John Hames, age 48, were all arrested after agents with the task force found just over 21 grams of methamphetamine at the residence, along with multiple hypodermic needles and other paraphernalia.

All of the items found were in locations easily accessible to the young children living in the residence.

Each is charged with third- and fifth-degree controlled substance, storing meth paraphernalia in the presence of a child and several other drug-related charges.
