A Windom man was transported to a hospital following a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 71.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2016 Ford Explorer operated by Brendon Saulsgiver, 21, was southbound on U.S. 71 near the intersection with Sixth Avenue in Windom when it entered the ditch and rolled. The crash was reported at 8:46 pm. Friday.
Saulsgiver was transported to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries. Alcohol was deemed a factor in the crash and Saulsgiver was also not wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol reported.
The Windom Police Department, Windom Ambulance and Fire Department as well as the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office all assisted at the scene.
