A Brandon, South Dakota woman was transported to Sanford Luverne Medical Center following a one-vehicle crash early Friday along Interstate 90.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2016 Ford F-150 pickup operated by Blair Shalayne Turpeinen, 35, was traveling eastbound on I-90 near milepost 3 when it left the roadway and struck a guardrail. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a non-life-threatening injury. The incident report indicates that alcohol was involved in the crash.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office and Beaver Creek Fire Department assisted at the scene.
