Chris Rademacher, a native of Okabena, has been named the interim director of the Iowa Pork Industry Center.
A clinical professor in veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine and swine extension veterinarian at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Rademacher will begin his interim role Aug. 1.
The Iowa Pork Industry Center was established in 1994 as a coordinated effort of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State.
