Nobles County Auditor-Treasurer gives pre-election report on ballots

As of Monday evening, Nobles County Auditor-Treasurer Joyce Jacobs reported that 2,200 ballots had been returned in the mail or hand delivered to her office. This represents 64.3% of the ballots that have been mailed out to registered voters in mail ballot precincts or to registered voters who have requested an absentee ballot via the mail or in-person.


Jacobs reminded voters that absentee ballots must be returned to the Auditor-Treasurer’s Office by no later than 3 p,m. on Tuesday (Election Day).


Ballots from mail ballot precincts must be returned to the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office by no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day.


The Nobles County Auditor’s Office will open at 7 a.m on Tuesday. Please use Door #1 at the Government Center when returning your ballot.


All polling places for cities in Nobles County will open at 7 a.m. on Election Day and township polling places will open at 10 a.m. on Election Day. All polling places will close at 8 p.m.
