Mask mandate is on in District 518 buildings

Effective immediately, all District 518 employees are required to wear masks indoors, and beginning Tuesday, Aug. 31 all students and staff or others in District 518 buildings will be required to wear mask for a minimum of the next 14 to 21 days.

During this period, the district will continue to evaluate the current and potential COVID cases along with any exposures. A decision will be made as to if and how long any extension of this time will be needed to avoid any potential exposures.
