Jon Wilson has been endorsed by the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party to run for the District 21B seat in the Minnesota House. The seat is currently held by Fulda Republican Marj Fogelman, who's in her first term.
The Facebook page "Jon Wilson for MN House" states that Wilson ran a nonpartisan write-in campaign for Mayor of St. James in 2022 and received what Wilson called "overwhelming support." He added: "People believed in me to help St. James enter a new era, and now I ask for your help once again to prove that my hard work, loyalty and leadership can help give a new voice for Greater Minnesota."
Wilson has spent the last 18 years teaching social studies and coaching baseball and football at St. James High School. More information can be found at jonwilsonformnhouse21b.com or on his Facebook page.
