The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting 109 additional cases of COVID-19 in the state as of 11 A.M. Sunday, taking the pandemic total to 402,511 cases and 6,072 virus-related deaths.
Locally, the largest increase was in Emmet County with 4 new cases, followed by O’Brien County with 3, Buena Vista and Osceola Counties with 2 each, and Kossuth County with 1. There was no change in Cherokee, Dickinson, or Pocahontas Counties. There was a one case reduction in Clay, and Palo Alto Counties.
Minnesota health officials reported no new cases in Jackson or Nobles Counties Sunday.
