The Sunset Hospice Cottage board of directors announced Wednesday that its annual fundraising banquet has been rescheduled to April 2, 2022, at the Worthington Event Center. The event had been originally set for Nov. 13.
Hospice Cottage volunteer and new patient liaison Susanne Murphy said Wednesday afternoon that the decision was extremely difficult. As a result of COVID concerns and others reasons, the board opted unanimously to reschedule. People who purchased tickets to attend the November banquet will be able to use them for the April event. Individuals may also obtain a refund if preferred.
