George man taken to hospital after Tuesday crash

A George, Iowa man was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital after a Tuesday accident near Sioux Center, Iowa.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2014 Dodge pickup operated by Devin Gerloff, 24, of George was eastbound on B40 (390th Street), about four miles west of Sioux Center. A 1995 International semi operated by Mark Sneller, 62, of Sioux Center was northbound on Fig Avenue.
The semi entered the intersection to turn westbound on B40 and was struck by the pickup in the intersection, according to the report. The collision took place about 3:05 p.m.
Gerloff was transported to Sanford University Hospital and Medical Center in Sioux Falls by the Sioux Center Ambulance. The Division of Motor Vehicle Enforcement, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sioux Center Police Department assisted at the scene.
